The day was clear and the sun was out. Nothing was suspicious… nothing to the normal citizen. No one noticed as my eyes darting across the road, or when I slid into a shadow warily. No one notice the scar running down my arm, or the cut on my face, blood just starting to dry. The Japanese streets, once home, now seemed foreign, like a first person game, except I was hunted, and I could not revive. A shiver traveled down my spine and I whipped around.. Yet no one was there. Wary, I slipped into a small ally.. Which just happened to be an actual road. Slowly, carefully, i crept along the road until I came upon what seemed to be a slight tunnel, or sheltered road. Half the wall was covered in bamboo, the floor tiles. Inside, even the lights seemed dim. Suddenly I heard a snap of a twig and immediately got to the wall, checked my surroundings. But then I saw it, at the end of the tunnel, not clear but most certainly her. I held my breath ready to sprint the other direction until I saw her turn. Slowly. Her kimono moving with her body silently she turn. Around. And saw me.
Only the Japanese..
